November Favourites

The month has flown by! I love November, and with the anticipation of all things festive in December being just one month away, makes it all the more exciting! I haven't tried too many new things this month but heres what Ive been loving this month:

Lets start with my favourite foundation of November seeing as it is the base. I have previously used the Healthy Mix Serum from Bourjois and absolutely loved it, so I thought I'd try another foundation from their range. The one I have been wearing, and loving, this month has been the 123 Perfect Foundation. The product claims that it;
1) Contains yellow pigments, which are for anti-dark circles
2) Contains mauve pigments, which are for anti-dull complexion
3) Contains green pigments, which are for anti-redness
Having quite red toned skin meant that I was most excited for seeing if the latter of the three claims worked for me, and to my pleasure it did! It also claims that it lasts for 16 hours, which I can't say I have tested, but to be honest who regularly wears foundation for 16 hours! However on my skin it does last the whole day without budging. I must note I set it with the Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot powder. My skin type is dry, and this medium coverage build-able is hydrating yet not shiny which is perfect. I where this foundation in the shade vanilla which is also a perfect match for my skin tone.

I have always had a real issue when it comes to wearing eyeshadow. Whenever I have worn it it creases and leaves the area the product is intended for. I have tried a lot of eyeshadow primers and unluckily for me none have helped solve the problem. That is until I came across 'Put a Lid on it' by theBalm. This product is amazing in my opinion. What's funny is that i didn't even intend to buy intend to buy it! It came free in a tester size (which will still last me ages as you only need the tiniest bit on each eye to do the job) when I bought the NUDE'tude eyeshadow palette by theBalm, which was also a great buy FYI. These are the only two products I own from this brand, but I will be looking out for more from them as I have really enjoyed using these two.

The third product that I have been loving this month is the Metallic Shine Eyeshadow in 06 from Kiko, another brand that I am yet to find fault with. This cream eyeshadow works wonders on its own as a simple look or run a darker shade through the crease for a dramatic smokey eye. Put the product on top of the previously mentioned primer and it will serve you well throughout the day! I have so much love for this product and the shimmery silver effortless look it can give you for any Christmas party you've got coming up.

To finish I just wanted to mention how much I bloody love November weather. Its the month where days get colder, evenings become cosier, and nights become longer. I am currently sat on my bed, feeling like a burrito wrapped in my festive blanket, listening to the rain fall heavily outside my window, on this cold November evening and I'm loving it.

Wanderlust

I came across the term 'Wanderlust' about two years ago and I think it pretty much sums up my passion. I enjoy designing, whether that be fashion or architectural, but if I had it my way, and money wasn't an issue, I would spend my days travelling the world, discovering cultures and trying new tasty treats.

The Oxford Dictionary describes 'Wanderlust' as being something a person can be consumed by, or someone having a strong desire to travel. Being 16 means that it is incredibly hard for my desires to be fulfilled and it leaves me feeling incomplete. I spend a lot of my time on Pinterest, sifting through fellow wanderers' posts about where they have been or where they wish to go, and can't help but feel my heart beating faster at the thought of the time that I can leave home and wander the world that we all share and see first hand the beauties that should be viewed and appreciated.

If you would like to see where I store all the posts that I am particularly interested in within the topic of travel, you can view them here.

I cannot freaking wait until I can travel and see the beautiful sights that this world can offer! ONLY 570 days (sarcasm) until I can legally finish education and my dream becomes a reality. Until then the dreams I have will remain just that, a dream.
